| Preferred Subjects: | Algebra, SAT Math, Calculus, General Math, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, Trigonometry, Differential Equations, Biology, Physics, English (ESL), English (Writing), ACT, GRE, SAT, and Study Skills/Organization |
| Experience: | I'm currently a PhD candidate in Biomedical Engineering at Tufts University. I've had experience teaching students of all ages from elementary to graduate students. I have taught SAT math and writing in classroom settings as well as in private homes. I was the teaching assistant for a graduate course in statistics. I'm currently located in Cambridge, MA and I am willing to travel.
I love teaching and watching students' confidence increase as they master subjects that were previously difficult for them. I like to find alternative ways to explain difficult subjects so that students can better relate to the ideas. |
| Hobbies: | I'm originally from southern California. I moved to Boston 3 years ago to attend Tufts University. When I'm not at school or in the lab, I enjoy going anywhere live music and discovering new restaurants. I love hiking and snowboarding. |
